Anatomy Awareness in Asana:
Foot, Ankle, Knee and Hip
We proudly welcome Julie Gudmestad back to Uppsala for the third time August 25-27!
Julie will be continuing with another part of her "Anatomy Awareness in Asana" series. This time we will focus on the foot, ankle, knee and hip area. In this workshop we will learn how to work with awareness and correct alignment in asana in order to prevent injury and instead help ourselves heal. Our time together will involve lecture, demonstration and discussion as well as direct work in the asanas.
No need to be advanced: This workshop is open for everyone with a regular practise and an interest in anatomy. It also doesn't matter if you have done the previous parts or not - you can join this time without having met Julie before.

Schedule: Friday 17:30-19:30, Saturday + Sunday 9:30-12:30 & 14:30-16:30

Julie Gudmestad is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher and physical therapist based in Portland USA with 30+ years of experience, who teaches workshops throughout the U.S as well as internationally.
Julie's goal is to make the healing powers of yoga accessible to people of all levels and abilities. She has created a unique teaching style which integrates yoga with Western medical knowledge.
